Luggage space and boot capacity

Some of our SUVs have great boot capacity and luggage space, but we think it’s always best to provide some advice alongside the space advertised with JLR (under the car’s specs and features on their website).

Please note that we purposely don’t inform you of capacity in litres, but if you choose to research these online, it is always a floor-to-ceiling of the boot space/capacity, meaning to fulfil the capacity, you would need to fill the boot to the highest point (which could also impact the rear view).

We’ve noted the luggage space and ISOFIX points for each model below.

Defender 110
Upto 4 medium suitcases or 3 large suitcases
If all 7 seats are used, the boot capacity reduces dramatically and can fit around 2 cabin bags/extra small suitcases
Dog guard will fit only when 5 seats are being used.
3 ISOFIX points
Tow bar

Defender 130
Upto 4 large suitcases
If all 8 seats are used, the boot capacity reduces dramatically and can fit around 2 extra small suitcases or one small/medium suitcase
A dog guard will not fit in this vehicle, however we can provide a dog mat.

Discovery
Upto 4 medium suitcases or 3 large suitcases
If all 7 seats are used, the boot capacity reduces dramatically and has no space for luggage.
