If you are involved in an accident whilst on rental, and the vehicle needs to be recovered, THE OUT will arrange the recovery of the vehicle and there will be no costs incurred to you providing you have adhered to the terms and conditions of rental, and the accident wasn't your fault.
If you have contacted JLR roadside assistance or our insurer here they will always try to recover you back to your home address where possible with the vehicle. Please do contact support if this happens and we will try our best to help/advise on where to have the car recovered.
Please note that we cannot provide an alternative car if you have been involved in an accident whilst on rental or damage has been caused whilst on rental, but our team will always try to help with any remaining rental days or with the re-booking of another vehicle.
If we need to recover a vehicle due to any negligence on your part or a breach of our terms & conditions of rental, then any costs involved with the recovery of the vehicle will be charged to your original payment method on the rental. This could include, but is not limited to, storage facility fees, police charges & driver payments.
You will also be charged the daily rate for any day the car isn't in our possession plus an overall £50 admin fee.
